Column is the freelance studio of David Steadman, a graphic designer at The University of Texas at Austin. David has more than a decade of experience providing visual solutions to businesses, public institutions and non-profits.

The studio is driven by the belief that design should serve content intelligently and effectively. The simple name “column” was chosen for its symbolic value and its literal definition as a vertical arrangement of items on a page.
